The exception is the social link ranks from 0 → 1, and from 9 → 10, you don’t need a matching persona for those ranks. It doesn’t need to be the one persona equipped but it needs to be in your current stock of personas/demons.Remember to (generally) always have matching arcana persona when you do social links!
